condo for rent in Ecuador

Breakfast Bar & Front Door

From this sweet 5th floor condo for rent in Ecuador, you can see the Pacific ocean as well as the Chone River. There are panoramic town and water views all around! This lovely apartment is only 1 block away from the water so come enjoy some fun on the beach!  Go for a long stroll, collect some sand dollars or just sit and relax with your favorite beverage. This is in a quiet section of the “point” of Bahia de Caraquez. On weekends and Holidays there will be  more people around enjoying the beach, the music and the street vendors, but because this is one block off the malecon, this condo for rent in Ecuador will tend to be quiet.

This condo is a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit with a kitchen, living room and dining area, featuring a breakfast bar in addition to the dining table. Kitchen is furnished with a gas stove, full size refrigerator, microwave, blender and basic cookware, utensils, plates and dishes. Internet, electricity, water & gas are included. There is no hot water heater, but the shower is supplied with “on demand” hot water. The building is equipped with an elevator.  When I first walked into this apartment, I felt relaxed and at home. Open the windows and feel the gentle breezes wafting through the apartment from the Ocean and enjoy your time at the beach in this condo for rent in Ecuador!  You don’t need a vehicle to enjoy living in the small walking town of Bahia de Caraquez because “el centro” is just 3-4 blocks away with a huge local market that is open 365 day a year! There are many other small stores, drug stores, hardware stores, bakeries and restaurants to make daily living easy and fun.

 $525 a mo. long term/6 plus months

  4. Anna-Maria says:

Looking to make a permanent move from Toronto Canada to Equador. Any help would be appreciated. Would like to know if this is still available and the cost of the condo including utilities.

    • Dave & Miriam says:

Hi Anna-Maria, This condo is available starting Jan 2 of 2014. The owner is looking for a long term commitment…. like a year. I understand that is hard to do from Toronto Canada, but I wanted you to know. All utilities are included… most importantly, the internet but also electricity, water & gas. Will it be just you? Any other persons? Pets?

Hola Dave & Miriam, I enjoyed talking to Dave today and we are interested in a short term rental situation. I wanted to talk to Miriam on line but we had a major problem here. We had a heavy rain here and the water was coming into the house because the drain on the roof was plugged. I will try tomorrow if all works out.
I’m definitely interested in income properties to purchase but first have to have a conclusion with the property we have in Argentina. I think that area of Ecuador is the place to be. REGARDS, DAVE & ALEXA

    • Dave & Miriam says:

HI Dave &Alexa, yes Dave sais he had a great converdation with you! Sorry aboyt the problems with the water & rain! I sent you an email and a Skype request…we’ll talk again today! I have several options available for you by way of rentals.

I was so very happy to find your site. I had the pleasure to spend time in Manta, a couple of years ago and one day in Bahia de Caraques (not near enough) It has haunted me since that time. Loved the Country and mostly Bahia de Caraques!
We will be moving to your area, within 2 to 3 months, hopefully and will want a long term rental but it may need to be a home? I have 3 mini-schnauzers and need to know if that’s going to be a big deal or not?
I’m open to ideas and advise…..
    Thanks Frank W.

Hi Joan, My rentals are filling up for January for 2015…and believe it or not, it is hard for me to get the go ahead for that far in advance from my Ecuadoran owners. Your travels through SE Asia sound fascinating! Be sure to click on the “For Rent” tab to check availability dates on the properties I manage. Thanks!
